BizTalk Business Rule Engine

When: Thursday October 2nd, 2008, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Where: Microsoft Office - Columbus (Address Below)

Level: 200

Business rules guide the decision-making behavior of all business processes—they are the conditional criteria against which facts are evaluated to determine an appropriate business action. In traditional application design, business rules are coded directly into the implementation. Embedding business rules within applications has always been problematic because it compromises the effectiveness and versatility of the application, and consequently the business process the application is meant to enable.

In this session, Monish will show you how the BizTalk Business Rule Engine (BRE) works. You will understand how the BRE is designed to be highly efficient and can process many hundreds or even thousands of rules in a matter of milliseconds. Also, you will learn how you can implement BRE rules in your own applications.
